Throughout his life, Walter Mitty experiences the mundane routine of corporate life and occasionally escapes into his own imaginative world, where he plays the role of both an individual and a hero.

Cast :

Ben Stiller himself directed the script, and a talented group of actors, including Kristen Wiig, Patton Oswalt, Shirley MacLaine, Adam Scott, and Ben Stiller, also contributed to the film. But maybe most importantly, Stuart Dryburgh handled the cinematography.

Short Review :

The film is about Walter Mitty finding a piece of paper, which is literal in the sense that he finds out about life on Earth in a different part. It is filmed in some stunning locations, including the villages of Höfn in southeast Iceland and Stykkishólmur on the Snaefellsnes peninsula in Iceland.

Walter is searching for what he always imagines to be his own realistic world, where all he wants is serenity and love for himself. He is in love with the woman but is afraid to tell her, but the journey to find a paper ultimately gives him the confidence to speak.

The plot moves forward with the idea of discovering one's inner self rather than locating the piece of paper for the firm, even though the story doesn't reveal much about the characters. Instead, it informs you through the feelings and expressions that each actor in the movie displayed for the audience.
